Biography
Bastien David is fascinated by the diversity of the living world, and his music explores the tangible relationships that sounds weave between each other, and their ability to move in time and space. His experiments have led him to create the metallophone, a percussion instrument in the shape of a steel keyboard which can be played by several performers at once. In ballets of sound and movement, the composer's music encourages experiences of collective creation and sensitive sharing.
