Discovering and proposing new horizons
As a place for observing “reception theory”,1 Veduta invites everyone to consider each step in the making of visual art as a potential vehicle for action. When several people construct the conditions of an act of presenting and transmitting art through an exhibition in their neighbourhood, they activate and make accessible to others the liveable experiences inherent to the artworks. This construction process also opens perspectives towards a horizon informed by the protagonists’ words, desires and interrogations. The exhibition is no longer an end in itself but a tool for making things together and questioning everyday rituals. When this thought-path comes to an end, the process also fosters a new intimacy with both the artworks and the territory.
