Address
Place de la Bourse,
69002 Lyon
The Palais de la Bourse was the site of important political, economic and cultural issues in Lyon. Thus, it was thanks to the support of the Lyon Chamber of Commerce that the first French mandates in Syria and Lebanon were established in 1923. The decision was largely driven by a committee of "Lyon silk manufacturers", who, as early as 1919, sought to make their factories, but also their commercial, political and cultural partnerships in these two countries, bear fruit.
