The City of Clermont-Ferrand and the EDF Group Foundation present the exhibition "Tomorrow is cancelled..., art and views on sobriety". The challenge of the century. At a time when we are becoming aware of the fragility of our planet and inaction is no longer an option, now is the time for individual and collective questioning to find concrete solutions. One of these is sobriety. Initially presented at the Espace Fondation EDF in Paris, the exhibition explores some of the paths towards a sustainable world. Installations, photographs, videos, paintings, music... 19 artists offer a dreamlike and sometimes critical stroll that, far from seeking to prescribe, provides food for thought about our relationship with sobriety. Visitors will be able to grasp the already real effects of climate change and explore the various ways of dealing with it. Is it possible to dream together of a more sober world? Can sobriety lead to a more harmonious and fairer society? Can it help people reconnect with others and with nature? Can technical innovation serve social, political and ecological progress? What new paths can we take?
