L'Alcôve invites you to the opening of the "Quand l'eau s'en mêle" exhibition, on 17th October from 6pm, an evening to unveil the work of the nine artists who spent three weeks in residence.

Embark on a journey along the rivers. "Quand l'eau s'en mêle", a group exhibition that invites us to rethink our relationship with rivers, these vital elements that we must protect to safeguard the future of generations to come.

Each artwork on display will reveal a part of the many faces of the living world that inhabits around rivers. Using different media such as painting, drawing, photography, mosaics, kirigami and installations, the artists will capture the very essence of these territories in constant metamorphosis. The exhibition will also explore the themes of migration, forced journeys and shattered hopes, as well as the dreams realised by those who have braved the waves.

The artists will be on hand to welcome you and discuss their work.

Exhibition from 16th October to 2nd November 2024. Open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 3pm to 7pm
