To open up to each other, to understand, accept each other for living better together. TIDRU's busts support sketches that let everyone's inner world be seen, what impressed us and built us within our social and geographical environment.
Through his works, Tidru reminds us that humans are a group, and therefore "many together". This is where all culture and language begin, but the heart of all culture is mutual presence, made possible by what humans share and do not exhaust: otherness, that primitive human abode, a universal abode. « I want to put the interior of the individual in the foreground. In my work, the form of the figure (its appearance) simply serves as a frame, a structure, a piece of luggage that carries and hosts the essential component (the drawing). » In this way, the usual supports for judging others - appearance, body expression, look, etc. – remain mute, and prompt the viewer to look elsewhere and perhaps to interfere in the intimate labyrinth that makes us up. Like a dance, like music, Tidru invites us to enter into multiple resonance with our own fluidity, with the nature of our breath, of our blood, of every cell in our body, to connect intimately with the flow of our spirit, with the torrent of our emotions. Perhaps it's a matter of acquiescing unreservedly to this movement of life, made up of waves and swells, tremors, oscillations, tides and eddies. Perhaps it's a matter of surrendering to the ceaseless current of our being, which teaches us mastery, so that we can come to a serene, soothed agreement with the pulse of life. Alain Vasseur
