In a fresco for nine dancers, Dalila Belaza deploys her joyful trance for the first time on the stage of the Maison de la danse.
Interpreting her sister Nacera for twenty years, Dalila Belaza has felt the need to create her own choreographic work for several years. She seeks the intimate and mysterious that lies dormant within us. His piece Rive is a dialogue between light, dance and space, a path of rigor and inspiration. Starting from the pas de couverture, the choreographer develops a rhythmic trance which spreads to the nine performers, like sparks feeding a fire. Beyond a show, Rive is a sensory and poetic experience where bodies vibrate alone or in unison. The invisible and the trouble radiate these gestures with an incredible presence. Traditional dance and contemporary dance in a common spirit, Rive is an invitation to a bewitching journey.
