Exhibition of engravings, drawings and installations by artists Damien Deroubaix and Yannick Vey.

Opening on Sunday September 25, 2022 at 12 p.m.

Damien Deroubaix and Yannick Vey have come together for the first time for a duo exhibition at the Cloitre Art Contemporain. These two artists are rooted in a singular artistic approach where the mastery of drawing, painting, engraving and sculpture is essential. The reference from mythology, music, cinema, art history, current affairs and philosophy is the material of the work. Both feed on it to take a look at the world and point out the fragility of being and things, but above all of existence. The work is considered an act of ideological resistance for Yannick Vey, like a screen to see more clearly and to show his most critical thoughts for Damien Deroubaix. It constitutes the field of the history of these two artists whose life is the essence.

Paint, engrave, sculpt, draw life! That's what it's all about!

Open from Friday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
